Laser Etching and Cutting
With the recent addition of two Epilog Laser marking and cutting machines, Alzar Industries is now able to provide laser part marking and Logo/Graphic engraving on a wide variety of substrates such as Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Plastics, Wood and even Glass. These machines are also able to cut shapes out of various plastic, rubber and wood sheet media to a maximum thickness of 0.375" thick (depending on material). 

Painting and Silk Screening
While we do not offer these services ourselves,  we can make arrangements to have them performed.  Since we contract out these services frequently, we can often get them performed at a lower price than our customers can by themselves.  In addition your parts will arrive at your dock completed and ready for the assembly line. 

One Stop Shopping
Alzar is proud to offer a complete machining service with all of our manufacturing operations being performed in-house.  Other machine shops have to subcontract out services such as heat treating, anodizing, and plating.  This increases the potential for scrap parts and delivery delays.  By offering a complete machining service, Alzar has full control over the entire manufacturing process.  Therefore, Alzar Industries is able to ensure product quality and on time delivery. 

Competitive Pricing
Alzar is always trying to reduce production costs by improving manufacturing processes. Whenever possible, we try to pass these savings on to our customers.  In fact despite increasing labor costs, Alzar's pricing system has remained fixed for the last 10 years.  Many of the parts that we produce have actually gone down in price. 

Electronic File Transfer
Mechanical drawings, part specifications, requests for quotations, etc.  may be transferred to us electronically via the internet.


Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing  (CAD / CAM)

  • Computer Aided Design (CAD) using SolidEdge and Mastercam. 
  • Computer Numerical Control (CNC)  programming using Mastercam. 
  • Mastercam is able to use the customer created geometry (in the form of a CAD file) to develop programs.  This reduces programming time and ensures that customers get exactly what they designed.  Acceptable file formats include IGES, STEP, Parasolids & SAT.  If you do not have CAD drawings for  your parts, Alzar can make them for you. 

Dimensional Inspection Services and Reverse Engineering

  •  using a state of the art computer controlled coordinate measurement machine. 

Metal Finishing in partnership with Alfin Aluminum Finishes

  • Aluminum Anodizing (Type II Classes 1 and 2) Colors include: clear sealer (gray), black, blue, red, purple, Green and gold. 
  • Aluminum Irriditing (Chromating) Colors include yellow (Class 2) and clear (Class 3). 
  • Electroless Nickel Plating 
  • Gold Plating (Type III, Grade A 99.98% pure) 
  • Passivation of stainless steel.
